John C. Warren is a trial lawyer concentrating in insurance defense, personal injury, products liability, commercial and construction litigation, and subrogation.
Mr. Warren was born in Houma, Louisiana on May 23, 1966. He attended Baylor University, receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance and Real Estate in 1988. After graduation from Baylor University, Mr. Warren joined Charter Bank in Houston, Texas as a financial analyst.
Mr. Warren obtained his Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas in 1993. During law school, Mr. Warren competed in mock trial competitions wherehe received first place in the American Trial Lawyer's Association Mock Trial Competition, Regional Competition in Spring, 1992. Mr. Warren went on to place in several other mock trial competitions.
Mr. Warren joined Taylor & Eggleston, P.C. in 1995. Prior to Taylor & Eggleston, P.C., Mr. Warren was associated with the law firm of Sharpe & Kajander in Houston, Texas.
In 1999, Mr. Warren and Mr. Thomas Taylor founded Taylor & Warren, L.L.P.
Mr. Warren is licensed to practice law in all courts of the State of Texas,as well as in the United States District Court for the Southern, Eastern, Western and Northern Districts of Texas.
Mr. Warren is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Houston Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Defense Research Institute. He is also a member of the Association of Builders and Contractors and the National Association of Subrogation Professionals.
Mr. Warren serves on the Texas Silicosis Defense Steering Committee.
Mr. Warren and Mr. Taylor serve as National Coordinating Counsel for Oglebay Norton Industrial Sands, Inc.'s silica litigation.
